My Story

 

I have always been interested in nutrition and wellbeing. I followed all of the latest "eat well" trends which were supposedly meant to "optimise my health". The wealth of information and opinions were overwhelming, confusing and certainly not evidence-based. So, in a determined search for the truth, I completed a Nutritional Therapy Diploma from the Institute for Optimum Nutrition in London. As a science graduate, I loved exploring the latest research and incorporating this into clinic to support clients in reaching their health goals.   

 

I am now, more than ever, passionate about how simple dietary and lifestyle changes can lead to significant health benefits. I use a Functional Medicine approach to create bespoke health plans focusing on the root cause of health problems instead of simply addressing the symptoms. the truth is that, whilst I love food and the power of nutrition, diet is only one piece of the puzzle. To fully optimise health, movement, relaxation and sleep are also vital and are therefore an integral part of my practice.     

 

My recommendations are always meaningful, achievable and rooted in the latest scientific evidence.  

I love creating new, delicious, healthy recipes. I also recognise that we don't all have the time and money to get the latest obscure ingredients from the trendy health food store down the road. And that's why my recipes are simple to prepare and can be replicated time and time again.
